Unleash Unrivalled Power for Your High-Demand Rig

The MSI MPG A1000GS power supply is engineered for the discerning PC builder in South Africa who demands absolute reliability and cutting-edge performance. Whether you are assembling a top-tier gaming machine capable of rendering the latest AAA titles at maximum settings, or a professional workstation for intensive video editing, 3D rendering, or complex simulations, this 1000W power supply provides the stable, clean power your components require. Its 1000W capacity is not merely a number; it is a promise of unwavering support for the most power-hungry CPUs and GPUs, ensuring that system instability becomes a relic of the past. The fully modular design means you only connect the cables you need, streamlining your build process and enhancing internal airflow for optimal cooling.

Efficiency that Matters, Performance that Endures

At the heart of the MPG A1000GS lies its 80 PLUS Gold certification, a benchmark for power supply efficiency. This designation signifies that the 80 PLUS Gold PSU operates at up to 90% efficiency under typical loads, meaning less energy is wasted as heat and more power is delivered directly to your components. This translates to lower electricity bills and a reduced thermal footprint within your PC case. The inclusion of a fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) fan, measuring a substantial 135mm, ensures that while your system is under load, the cooling remains quiet and effective, further contributing to the longevity of the power supply and the overall stability of your build. This attention to detail in both efficiency and cooling is paramount for sustained performance.

Prepared for the Future, Built for Today

In a landscape of rapidly evolving PC hardware, the MSI MPG A1000GS stands ready. It is equipped with two PCI-E 5.1 (16-pin) connectors, capable of delivering up to 600W each, specifically designed to power the most demanding next-generation graphics cards. This forward-thinking design ensures that your investment is protected, allowing you to upgrade your GPU without needing to replace your power supply. The robust protection suite, including OCP, OTP, OPP, SCP, OVP, UVP, SIP, and NLO, acts as a vigilant guardian for your valuable components, safeguarding them against power surges, short circuits, and other electrical anomalies. This comprehensive protection system provides peace of mind, knowing your hardware is secure.

A Foundation of Stability for Every Build

The power excursion capability of up to 2350W (*up to 235% of the PSU's rated power for 100μs) means this power supply can handle sudden, intense power demands from components during peak operation, such as when a graphics card accelerates rapidly. This is crucial for gaming and high-intensity workloads where transient power spikes are common. Combined with the stable power delivery and comprehensive protection mechanisms, the MPG A1000GS offers a reliable foundation that allows your high-performance components to operate at their peak potential without compromise. This is not just a power supply; it is the cornerstone of a stable, powerful, and efficient PC.
